Vernacular Architecture Forum 2005 | Tucson, Arizona

The Vernacular Architecture Forum (VAF) held it's 25th anniversary conference in
Tucson Arizona, April 13-16th 2005. The theme was La Frontera: Cross-Cultural
Vernacular Landscapes, in recognition of southern Arizona's rich architectural and
cultural heritage that incorporates Native American, Spanish Colonial/Mexican and
Euro-American influences. This conference emphasized a series of tours over two days
that showcased the vernacular architecture and cultural landscapes of this region.

Studies of the College of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture, and the
conference registration coordinator, Lupita Cruz, for letting us tag along to photo
document a portion of the tour.
