Archeological Dig near Terapa, Mexico

These are panoramas shot in and around San Clemente de Térapa, Sonora, Mexico.
University of Arizona staff members from the Learning and Teaching Center Garry Forger and videographer Gretchen Gibbs along with VR photographer Gary Mackender of the Office of Student Computing Resources visited the site March 21 and 22, 2005.
This is An International, Multidisciplinary Expedition led by Jim Mead, Professor of the Department of Geology, Director of the Quaternary Sciences Program, adjunct professor in the Department of Biological Sciences, adjunct Curator of Vertebrate Paleontology at the Museum of Northern Arizona, and Production Editor for the Journal of Vertebrate Paleontology. Major research interests include bovid evolution in North America, lizard evolution in arid North America and Australia, and the development of North American faunas of the most recent 5 million years. He is also Director of the Laboratory of Quaternary Paleontology.
